HISTORY OF THE COMPANY

This Company was originally formed in the year of 1970 as a Proprietorship firm in the name  & style Messrs. MASOOD AND COMPANY having its registered office at 5, Gupibagh,  2nd. Lane, Dhaka-3 upto December, 1979. The firm undertook and completed huge construction works under various Government Departments and Autonomous Bodies

As the volume of the work gradually increased it became necessary to transform this firm into a Limited concern as MASOOD AND COMPANY LIMITED having its registered office at 9/H, Motijheel Commercial Area, Dhaka-2, on the 18th of December, 1979 and the Company was registered with the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies as a Private Limited Company. The Company, since then, was entrusted with the construction work of a spectrum of buildings and has successfully completed all of them with the entire satisfaction of the authorities concerned.

At the present moment, the Company with its Head office at "MCL POINT", 20/C, Monipuripara, Sangsad Avenue, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka is managed by a group of qualified and experienced Engineers and Technicians who are toiling hard with untiring efforts to retain and promote its goodwill and reputation specially in the field of construction of High-rise building, Factory, Housing Colony, Highways, Multi-storied Building on turn-key basis. This Company has completed some sophisticated and prestigious projects in the recent past. Bhasani NOVO THEATRE situated at Bijoy Sarani, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka is one of the greatest achievement of the Company. Beside this, 4-Storied Annex Building of Bangladesh  Supreme Court, Extension of Passenger Terminal Building of Zia International Airport, Cargo Building at Zia  International  Airport and Multi-storied Car Park at Zia International Airport are some of the most prestigious projects completed by this Company. Recently a sister concerned has been established in the name and style “MCL Housing Ltd.” to mitigate the housing problems of average income people of Bangladesh. The Company is well equipped with all types of construction plants & machinery needed for execution of various projects. The Company today feel confident to take up any type of construction work with its available resources and most dedicated group of highly skilled technical and supervisory personnel.

MCL industrial park has also been established at Savar to promote the industrial arena of Bangladesh.
